The two cottages can comfortable sleep up to six guests and are very family friendly. The spacious open plan living area comprise of a comfy lounge with two squishy sofas, one of which can be converted into a sofa bed if needed, a very well equipped kitchen, including fridge freezer, microwave, electric oven and hob, dishwasher and washer/drier and a chunky wooden dining table.

Barn Owl is a charming cottage with an upside-down set up so the living area takes advantage of the alluring rural views. Both cottages have two en-suite bedrooms, one twin either with two single beds or a set of adult-sized bunk beds and one double bedroom. All the bedrooms benefit from en-suite facilities. Patio doors lead out from the living areas to a paved terrace, where you can enjoy alfresco dining or rustle up a BBQ. About the location
About the location
Higher Witheven Farm is located in the heart of the Cornwall countryside on the outskirts of the pretty hamlet Crackington Haven.

Less than a five minute drive from the cottages is the village Wainhouse Corner, where there is a good pub, petrol station, Post Office an convenience store selling highly recommended Cornish pasties.

The secluded beach at Crackington Haven is just a short drive away. This lovely remote beach has great rock pools, waves good enough for a spot of body-boarding, excellent coastal walks and a choice of cafes. A little further afield is the more popular resorts of Bude, Widemouth Bay, Boscastle and Tintagel, where the cliff top castle is reputed to be Camelot. Other attractions in the local area, which are well worth visiting are The Eden Project and The Lost Gardens of Heligan. If you decide to visit the south coast, why not make a day of it and pay a visit to the National Maritime Museum or the National Aquarium.
