Algorfa
Algorfa is a traditional Spanish town surrounded by orange and lemon groves. At the heart of the town is the pretty square with its church, town hall, bank, supermarket and selection of bars. Market days and fiestas are very popular and bring the community of this normally quiet town, together. The fiestas can last up to ten days and include concerts, barbeques, fireworks and much more. The fiesta this year will be held 6th - 16th July 2007. Hidden around the streets of Algorfa you&#39;ll find bakeries, tobacconist, shoe shop, hairdressers, florist, restaurants and bars including traditional tapas. If you enjoy a round of golf, La Finca golf course is just a short drive away. There are 2 Aqua Parks a 15 minute drive from Algorfa.
Beaches
Just a ten minute drive will take you to one of the many &#39;blue flag&#39; beaches found along the Costa Blanca.
Airport

The village of Uzumlu is one of spectacular natural beauty, set in a valley surrounded by dense pine forests rugged hillsides and fields of cotton, sesame, aniseed, wheat, barley and a variety of vegetables as well as apples, grapes, almonds, pears, figs and olives . At the start of the season the poppies and other wild flowers fill the meadows with an abundance of colour. It is 500m above sea level which means the cooling mountain breezes are perfect for when the local temperatures soar in the summer months. The area is steeped in history and is ideal as a base to explore the countryside including the hilltop Roman city of Cadianda approx 20mins away.
&#160;If you prefer more choice then Fethiye is just twenty minutes drive away. Here you will find bustling shops, a harbour, museum, and the large Tuesday market. The nearest beach to Uzumlu is at Calis. It is a quiet yet busy holiday resort, with a seemingly endless beach, the shoreline is 6km long and is a significant nesting place for turtles. A good selection of bars and restaurants line the promenade. Water taxis run reguarly between Calis and Fethiye Harbour. Slightly further away are the ancient ruins and unspoilt 20km beach of Patara and also Salikent Gorge famous for Rafting.

You first get this impression upon arriving, when you leave the road and enter the large driveway that leads into the campsite. To one end of the campsite there is a small but impressive ch&#226;teau, after which the campsite is named. To the right of the ch&#226;teau is the large swimming pool complex including an indoor pool. 
This is obviously a main attraction when the weather is poor. The campsite bar is situated in one of the historic buildings opposite the swimming pool, so you can enjoy a refreshing drink whilst watching the children play in the pool. The restaurant is to be found on a different part of the campsite in a chalet-like building and serves delicious food typical of the region. Alozaina areaFinca Bascella is located just 2 minutes away from the pretty hamlet of Jorrox which has a cave venta and 4Km away from the white villages of Alozaina and Yunquera. Both have several bars and restaurants where you can sample typical Spanish dishes and of course wine. Plus a couple of banks and small super markets each.
During the year there are many fiestas in the surrounding villages. The area is ideal for walking, mountain biking and horse riding. Finca Bascella would suit guests wanting a tranquil base who wish to have the maximum number of options possible open to them.Marbella and its beaches just 40 minutes away as is Puerto Banus where famous celebrities are frequenly spotted.
