There is also a large private terrace and a communal swimming pool. Algorfa Algorfa is a traditional Spanish town surrounded by orange and lemon groves. At the heart of the town is the pretty square with its church, town hall, bank, supermarket and selection of bars. Market days and fiestas are very popular and bring the community of this normally quiet town, together. The fiestas can last up to ten days and include concerts, barbeques, fireworks and much more. The fiesta this year will be held 6th – 16th July 2007. Hidden around the streets of Algorfa you’ll find bakeries, tobacconist, shoe shop, hairdressers, florist, restaurants and bars including traditional tapas. If you enjoy a round of golf, La Finca golf course is just a short drive away. There are 2 Aqua Parks a 15 minute drive from Algorfa. Beaches Just a ten minute drive will take you to one of the many ‘blue flag’ beaches found along the Costa Blanca. Airport Alicante airport is about a 35 minute drive away. Car hire is easy to arrange and reasonably priced if you book in advance. Transfers can be arranged from Alicante to Algorfa for approximately €80 return.
