Turriff (3 miles) is home to a host of activities and interests. River fishing, with brown trout and salmon both available at cost. You can play golf on any of the several 18-hole courses in the area, or enjoy some time on a boating lake or even a putting green. Alternatively, play tennis, bowls, or go riding or shooting. Try the indoor sports and swimming pool complex. Nearby there are stately homes and castles to explore, museums and heritage centres, picturesque coastal villages, nature reserves and colourful parks, as well as famous distilleries.
